Who is Dr. Bora Yücel?
Dr. Bora Yücel completed his primary and secondary education in Zile, Tokat, before graduating from Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine in 2002.
Following his medical education, he fulfilled his mandatory state service at Tekirdağ Altınova Health Center. He then completed his military service as a medical lieutenant at the Turkish Air Force Command’s Kocaeli Körfez Air Radar Base. Afterward, he worked for a period at the Turkish Red Crescent Blood Services Kayseri Regional Directorate.
Starting in 2008, he pursued his specialization in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine. He successfully completed his training with a thesis titled “Salvaging the Stasis Zone in Burns Using Pentoxifylline: An Experimental Study in Rats.” This research was accepted as a presentation at the 2014 ISBI Congress of the International Society for Burn Injuries (ISBI 2014) in Sydney and was later published in Journal of Burn Care & Research, one of the most prestigious journals in the field of burn treatment.
After completing his specialization, he fulfilled his mandatory state service at Sivas Numune Hospital.
